Our Pastor
Pastor Dexter Landers
Pastor Landers hails from Ardmore, Alabama. He was saved at age sixteen and called to the ministry shortly after, graduating from Mt. Pisgah Baptist Academy and Texas Independent Baptist Seminary.
After pastoring in Pacifica, California, the Lord called him to Mt. Zion in December 2006. He and Mrs. Landers have been married for more than twenty years and have been blessed with six boys.
What We Believe
Founded on the Word of God
We accept the King James Bible as the inerrant, preserved, inspired Word of God, and Jesus Christ as the only Head of His church.
The Bible
We believe the King James Bible to be the inerrant, preserved, infallible, inspired Word of God for the English speaking people.
Salvation by Grace
The sacrifice made by Jesus is the only basis of salvation. No man cometh to God except through Jesus Christ.
The Local Church
A scriptural church is a self-governed, independent body having Christ as the Head and the Bible as its only rule of faith and practice.
