His Testimony
Called to preach the Word
Pastor Dexter Landers hails from Ardmore, Alabama. He was converted to Christ at the age of sixteen and was called to the ministry shortly after.
He graduated from Mt. Pisgah Baptist Academy in 1996 and earned his degree from Texas Independent Baptist Seminary in 2000. Before coming to West Georgia, he pastored Westside Baptist Church in Pacifica, California for four and a half years.
On December 17, 2006, the Lord brought Pastor Landers to Mt. Zion Baptist Church, where he has faithfully served as senior pastor ever since.
His Family
Pastor and Mrs. Landers have been married for more than twenty years. The Lord has blessed them with six boys. In his free time, Pastor enjoys reading, spending time with Shana, coaching his boys’ baseball, hunting, and fishing.
